Summary/Abstract: In February, 2004, they organised four exhibitions of photography in Czestochowa. The shows were organised by Janusz Mielczarek. One of the shows concentrated on still life. The curator was inspired by Marian Michalik, who specialised in such motifs. Several artists combined “living” and “dead” motifs (Ma³gorzata Kot, Romuald Nawrocki, Christopher Kuerrer). W³adys³aw Szulc showed painterly effects in his chromatically rich pictures. Janusz Moniatowicz, W³odzimierz P³aneta and Ewa Przytu³a referred to poetic atmosphere. Janusz Wojcieszek, Pawe³ Wróblewski and Maria Dembek were interested in abstraction. Aneta Lipiñska and Piotr Halter showed refined plastic arrangements. Eugeniusz Nurzyñski, Marek Tomaszuk and Mariusz Oszustowicz combined still life with landscape. Barbara Englender, Wojciech Iskierka, Janusz Pu³awski and Romuald Cichos chose conceptual approach.
