Summary/Abstract: Maliszewski analyses Krzysztof Śliwka’s poetry. Śliwka comes from Wrocław. He is one of the most renown artists of his generation. Quiet City was the title of his first book, and the most recent one was entitled BuddhaShow. Maliszewski concentrates on the originality of Śliwka’s project based on the poetic rebellion and defiance; he reveals personal, social and aesthetic source of contestation. All experiments by Śliwka rose from the hunger of the truth about people and their role in society, boiled down to the belief of being inextricably associated with space outside the system.
