CHOSEN PROBLEMS OF ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION IN POLAND IN THE FOCUS OF MULTIDIMENSIONAL COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

Summary/Abstract: The paper present spatial analysis of chosen phenomena related with protection of environment in Poland, particularly: spatial differentiation of voivodships with respect to the degree of pollution of environment, spatial differentiation of voivodships with respect to the activities undertaken within ecology, spatial differentiation of voivodships with respect to the costs engaged to cover fixed assets used in environment protection, spatial differentiation of voivodships within the level of gross domestic product per capita. With the implementation of multidimensional comparative analysis ranking arrangements for chosen complex phenomena were constructed. The final arrangements underwent the comparing procedure by the mpg measure.
