Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the general structure of cognitive states in students depending on the level of meaningfulness of life. According to the results of the correlation analysis, qualitative differences were revealed in the structures of states in students with either high or low level of meaningfulness of life. In the structure of cognitive states in students with the high level of meaningfulness of life, the central role is played by the total self-regulation capacity. The organization of cognitive states in students with the low level of meaningfulness of life is characterized by the variety of leading indicators, the main of which are the indicators of emotional intelligence and control locus.
