Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the functioning of the Old Russian Imperfect. Particular attention is paid to the so-called Augment and Perfective Imperfect history. The results of the analysis of Imperfect forms in some ancient manuscripts are provided. They are the new evidence of the usual nature of Imperfect forms in the Old Russian language.
