On the history of Slavonic dative

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to discuss a range of problems related with the Slavonic Dative’s history. First of all, there is raised a question of the Dative inflexion origin of such a productive declension type as o-base. In the paper we treat variability of the Dative inflexions in the Old Russian writing. It’s for the first time that there are given examples of the early substitution of the attributive Dative for the Genitive.
