Summary/Abstract: The statements of witnesses represent, as it is well known, one of the oldest means of evidence and among the most used within the trial in general and particularly in criminal process, because the hearing as witness of the person who have knowledge about a certain deed or circumstance related to a juridical fact or to a criminal case and the information gained through the testimony serve for the revealing of truth.
