Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to identify the relations between the municipal infrastructure development, and the financial situation of municipalities. Zero unitarisation method was used to construction of synthetic indicator of the municipalities’ financial condition. The results indicate a weak relationship between the levels of development of the technical infrastructure of municipalities and their financial situation. Higher dynamics of especially expensive objects of municipal infrastructure (sewage system) showed municipalities with better economic situation.
