Changes in agricultural production in Poland between 2000 and 2014

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to discuss the situation of agricultural production in Poland and its connection to the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Agriculture sector in Poland in the years 2000–2014 underwent dynamic changes in its organization and intensity of production. CAP played an important role in this context, as its instruments accelerated and strengthened transformation and restructurization of Polish agriculture. Those changes deepened significant regional differences in agricultural production, leading to its concentration, polarization and specialization.
