Summary/Abstract: Much of the needs of people in their daily lives fall within the scope of the service area of local governments. For this reason, it is included in the responsibility of the local governments to bring human life environment and conditions to a decent level, to protect and to raise the quality of life of the individual. The effectiveness of environmental management's preventive, restorative and development policies also depends on local governments taking direct responsibility for environmental management. Within the scope of this study, it will be discussed how the legislative possibilities of the ecological city administration are applied and how these legal possibilities change with the change after 2014 and how this change affected the cities where the local administrations are tasked.
