Summary/Abstract: The first communication between the job seeker and the enterprise is provided by the resume. Experience, education, skills, personality traits are very important, but the design of the resume is also important. Writing the resume in consideration of the characteristics of visual communication has a privileged and strategic importance. The purpose of this study is to emphasize the nature of the visual communication of the resume. We see that the curriculum vitae as a job search tool in the Turkish scientific field writing is not very much discussed, and that the curriculum is not handled in the dimension of visual communication quality. The topic of the study is of interest to both job seekers and human resources specialists and managers who are responsible for the occupational selection process.
