Summary/Abstract: One of the most important parts, affecting the efficiency in the educational institutions and leading to achievement, is school administration. Therefore, the success or failure of administrators of school is of great importance. In this research, primary school administrators’ anxiety about returning to teaching profession was determined in terms of various parameters. The research was applied to 195 school administrators working in primary schools in the central district of Diyarbakır. In this research, it has been determined that there is difference on demographic factors such as gender, age, branch, tenure, seniority in work, seniority in administratory, the number of subordinate coworker and criteria for work location in the context of returning to the teaching profession. It is found out that women had less anxiety than men in terms of various source of anxiety.
