Summary/Abstract: Regarding the preventive arrest warrant, the New Criminal Procedure Code took over, with a few modifications, the provisions of the former Criminal Procedure Code (1968). The authors analyze the institution of the preventive arrest warrant for the defendant, presenting critical aspects and proposing some improvements of the new regulations.
