Abuse of office – between criminalization and decriminalization

Summary/Abstract: In this editorial, the author attempts to demonstrate the need to further criminalize the offense of abuse of office, but in a form more appropriate to the defense of the social values of a democratic society, after having revealed the Romanian legal tradition, the Romanian judicial practice and the experience in the matter of other reference countries.
