Geographical Directions of Polish Regions’ International Cooperation

Summary/Abstract: All Polish regions have foreign partners and participate in international projects. Despite the dominance of partners from the European Union (62% of all partnerships) and from the neighboring countries (52%), more and more relations are developing with distant regions, such as some Chinese provinces or parts of Georgia. There is no single model of cooperation and no single factor that might indicate the direction where Polish regions are most likely to look for partners.
