Summary/Abstract: In the first part of this article there is an attempt to define human capital. In the next section the researchers’ approach to human capital together with its origin and development is presented. The final section attempts to show the relationship between human capital and social capital in terms of intellectual capital. The growth of the organization value depends on the creation of intellectual capital, and particularly all its components, including the human capital. Social capital is the driving factor for the change in the value of intellectual capital.
