Existance of „fairy” in Russian manuscripts and book tradition of the XVIII-th centur

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the initial stage of formation of the book of fairy tales and prerequisites for the formation of its unique status in the Russian book culture of the classical period; demonstrates forms of „fairy” in the European and Russian traditions; shows the socio-cultural origins of foreign and Russian literary fairy tale, leading to the gradual development of a program written tale as a basic component of cultural communication, display cultural independence of the nation.
