Summary/Abstract: The issues of violence and domestic violence are interdisciplinary. The terminological inter-pretation of those terms also differs from the concrete branch of science. What is crucial in this aspect, is the meaning of this phenomenon on the ground of broadly defined criminal law. In the first part of the article the author analyses the terminological problem of “violence” and “domestic violence”. The second part of the article focuses on the “Blue Card” procedure and the barring order institution provided both by an enactment and the civil code.
