Quality management principles in the context of innovation processes in an organization

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the eight quality management principles, introduced in 2000 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in the ISO 9000 family of standards, in terms of innovation activities in the organization. Considering the nature of each of these principles, the article aims to point out their role in initiating and supporting innovation processes in organizations that have implemented quality management systems.
