Summary/Abstract: Public procurement market being relatively “young” market is characterized by its own specific features in comparison with private market of goods and services. Public institutions, contrary to classical economic entities, act in conditions which not obligatorily are market oriented. The purpose of the paper is to analyse the public procurement market by the use of such statistical methods as decriptive statistics, dynamic measures, correlation and multicorrelation regression analysis. Empirical examples of indicators which are presented in the paper are based on data coming from different sources like annual raports of Public Procurement Office, own study and results of survey conducted by the team of researchers from University of Lodz.
