Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is identifying the determinants of public finance imbalance in Poland, comparing the condition of public finances in Poland with other European countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the EU 28. In studies of this issue, to realize the main aim of the article, the descriptive and statistical methods were used (such as: the dynamics of expenditure, budget revenues, budget deficit and public debt, both in absolute terms as and in relation to GDP).
