Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to discuss the changes in ecological food economy in the area of Wielkopolska Voivodeship from the period of the accession into the European Union until 2014. In the paper the quantitative changes in ecological food economy have been shown, i.e. in number of ecological farms, the area of arable farmland, production, processing and channels of distribution, and price level. In this article the ecological agriculture data from the MSO and IJHARS and the results of own studies on ecological food prices in shops located in Poznan agglomeration have been used.
