Local develoment in rural areas with diversified agriculture (the case of pilski subregion on the background of the stuation in Wielkopolska

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to determine and compare the levels of sustainability of local development in rural areas with diversified agriculture in Wielkopolska. The study included rural areas (counties) forming the subregion in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship with the greatest diversity of agriculture. The analyzes were carried out based on the data of the Agricultural Census of 2002 and Censuses from the years 1996, 2002, 2010. Lack of relationship between the sustainability of local development in rural counties of the Piła subregion and the intensity of their agriculture were proven.
