SOCIAL ECONOMY IN THE PROCESS OF THE COUNTERACTION FOR SOCIAL EXCLUSION ON RURAL AREAS

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses issues related to possibilities inherent in the activities of social economy entities in rural areas, especially those endangered by degradation of civilization. Article shows as an example, some types of entities which have complementary nature to the market economy, allowing for social and economic integration and reintegration of excluded people. It identifies the social economy as an instrument to counteract the marginalization of rural communities as well as an alternative to social transfers.
