Two sickles from the La Tène period discovered at Radovan commune, Dolj county

Summary/Abstract: This article is in fact a note about two sickles (fig. 1-2) discovered by chance, two kilometers south from Radovan Commune, in the point called „Valea Rea” (Bad Valley). The pieces belong to the second Iron Age, and they can be widely dated between the first century BC- the first century AD. Their big sizes leave the possibility that the pieces could have been used also as scythes.
