Summary/Abstract: During the archaeological excavations wich were carried out in the year 1965 inside of the northern Roman necropolis from Romula, a plate has been found, at a distance of 0.45 m from a cremation grave. The archaeological context and the features of the plate point out a dating for this vessel in the first half of the 3rd century AD. On the inner side of the plate, before the burning in oven, has been made a sign in a shape of a cross. After a short analysis, it can be conclude that we are dealing with a Christian sign.
