Summary/Abstract: Constantin Amăriuței, renown personality of the Romanian exile, with a PhD in Philosophy at Sorbonne (thesis in Metaphysics), was among others appreciated by Albert Camus. His journey, like that of the exiled in general, consisted of moving from one place to another, as well as travelling from one language into the other. As Martin Heidegger’s disciple, the philosopher Constantin Amăriuței, away from home, returns to the fundamental values of Romanian culture, the most important being the Eminescian oeuvre. Amăriuței opens a new perspective bringing into sight new ways of understanding Eminescu’s poetry. The following paper intends to draw the reader’s attention to the very original journey of Constantin Amăriuței through Eminescu’s ouevre.
