Summary/Abstract: Memorandum of citizens of Tuzla was an effort to directly affect organization and work of business schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Signers of memorandum were respectable citizens of Tuzla from all national classes and confessions that lived in Tuzla at that time. The greatest number of those who signed it were merchants, lawyers, owners and directors of banks. Officials of ministry of education in the Kingdome of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians did not take the memorandum with sympathy. They estimated this initiative of the citizens of Tuzla as «deep cross over into organization of civil rights.» However, the memorandum affected the decision of Goverment to start with new organization of public schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the whole Kingdome of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians from 1927.
