BENEFITS AND BARRIERS OF LOCAL ENTITIES COOPERATION ON THE EXAMPLE OF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND BANK – EMPIRICAL RECOGNITION

Summary/Abstract: Cooperation of local entities brings on the one hand a lot of formal benefits like: economic, infrastructural ones and informal benefits like improvement of trust and social capital between the partners. On the other hand there are a lot of barriers which the entities, who want to cooperate face with. There are more formal barriers just like legal and economic ones and more informal like potential partners’ unwillingness to take together any actions. In 2014 empirical research was conducted and its goal was to identify the benefits and barriers between local entities. Considering the editorial limitation the article presents the results of the research considering the benefits and barriers on the example of banks and local government.
