Summary/Abstract: The article examines how Nicolae Densuşianu contributed to the magazine of the Historians’ Society in Berlin, Jahresberichte der Geschichtswissenschaft, in the last decades of the nineteenth century and early years of the twentieth century. In the beginning, the focus is on describing the publication and its evolution over time (one may also remember those who led it and some of those who have sent materials in the first stage of developing historiography, namely the years 1880-1916). Moreover, these passages describe the structure of the content, whereas certain features are highlighted. The second part of this literary work has as a target of analysis the eight historiographical reports which have been sent by Nicolae Densuşianu to the above-mentioned magazine in Berlin. These reports contain an almost exhaustive review of the historical and philological production of books published within the Romanian space. The aim is mainly how different elements of this Hunedoara author’s historical discourse emerge along these articles. Nevertheless, specific aspects of text construction are not avoided, such as: the number or the nature of the books reviewed and their classification in separate subchapters.
