Summary/Abstract: The subject of this paper is the collaborative consumption phenomenon as a display of consumers’ interaction. The main purpose of it is to identify the relationships between the popularization of the collaborative consumption and the various aspects of the development of enterprises as well as the multidimensional economic development. In addition, the author makes an attempt to depict managerial challenges in the context of the appropriate business models designing and marketing strategies. The gaps and possible directions for future research in this area have been indicated.
