Summary/Abstract: A manifold of interdisciplinary studies have lately enhanced the connections between the sonorous effect and its correspondent in the biomechanical characteristics of the movements of the performer’s pianistic apparatus. Biomechanics adapts thereby the laws of mechanics to the research on the movements made by living beings and especially by humans. The study is achieved by analyzing the forces that drive the locomotory apparatus. Biomechanics highlights the interaction between the internal forces of the human body, namely: nervous impulse, muscle contraction, bone levers, joint mobility - and the external forces of the environment, such as: gravity, inertia and variegated resistances.
