Summary/Abstract: E-consumers’ buying behaviours are a dynamic phenomenon, changing significantly and simultaneously with fast evolving internet technology. The value of on-line purchases and the number of e-buyers is growing fast, as well as the significance of the internet as a source of information used by consumers in buying decision making process. The capabilities offered by new technologies make the internet a handy tool for optimizing the consumers’ buying decisions. The paper aims to analyze the basic characteristics of polish e-consumers’ behaviour and to identify trends in changes of these behaviours in recent years.
