ECONOMIC SECURITY IN THE CONDITIONS OF DEVELOPING FINANCIALISATION

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the problem of economic security of the state in the conditions of developing financialisation which is connected to the present wave of globalization. The gradually decreasing meaning of a real sphere to the financial sector causes bigger and bigger dependence of national economies as well as households from this sector. With the constant pressure of lowering taxes and creating incentives for investors, the country uses loans from commercial banks. The same process concerns households, which not only want to increase consumption of market goods but are also forced to take services such as education or health care in a commercial way. It causes an increase of debt in an economy scale. Moreover, the excessive concentration of financial capital encourages speculations and searching for benefits.
