Summary/Abstract: This paper presents business process in shipbuilding industry in Republic of Croatia. The first part explains area of business process in universal sense. That part shows various views by different authors regarding a term business process management, types business process and five phases in business process management. The second part presents general and secondary process in shipbuilding industry in terms of their structure and importance in simple shipbuilding process production. The same part explains certain network between preliminary and production process in shipbuilding. In order to determine the contribution related homogeneous entire competitiveness in shipbuilding. Ultimately, the final part this paper shows model efficiency functioning in business process management in shipbuilding industry in order to improve competitiveness of Croatian shipbuilding in the world and thus to achieve important prosperity in production process as greatest export production in Croatian economy.
