Summary/Abstract: This work covers the analysis of different dimensions of organizational culture with particular focus on characteristics of organizational culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s companies. Since 1980s the phenomenon of organizational culture has become one of central problems in academic research, in which it is treated as conceptual bridge between the organizational behavior and strategic management, as well as in business practice due to efforts to find new resources for creating and keeping of competitive advantages in an increasingly challenging global market. The paper shows that organizational culture is remarkable but very complex phenomenon in organizational life. That complexity of organizational culture produces difficulties in the field of its recognition (measurement) in reality, which opens the problem of determination of the type and intensity of its influence on business performance of a company. The results of empirical research, presented in the work, shows cultural-specific qualities of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s companies that were analyzed from the point of national structure as well as from points of other characteristics of these companies.
