Summary/Abstract: This study observes that the aggregate model of the contemporary democracy, seen as a result of the fight between different factions for winning the political power, is a model with major shortcomings. Because of this, it is analyzed the way the alternative academic model cope with this, so we have in view the deliberative democracy, and there are proposed other alternative variants.
