Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to examine the degree of acceptance of the gray zone in society. We carried out a survey on the factors affecting the level of acceptance of this zone in society. It was found that age increases the degree of acceptance of the informal economy. Men are more likely than women to accept the existence of this zone. People living in the city tolerate the gray zone less than residents of small towns. The decrease of the approval of the gray area with the number of siblings has been observed. The hypothesis has been positively verified that people who declare themselves believers and practitioners, to a lesser extent, accept the gray zone than no practicing believers and non-believers.(original abstract)The aim of the study was to examine the degree of acceptance of the gray zone in society.
