The role of trainee projects in shaping the professional competence of students. Part I

Summary/Abstract: The level of competence held by the students of the Faculty of Economic and Legal Sciences of the UPH in Siedlce, who participated in the traineeship programme co-financed by the European Social Fund in 2016, was examined. There was an observed increase in hard competencies such as knowledge of the international market and specialist programmes and knowledge of the domestic market. There was an increase of communication skills, teamwork skills, entrepreneurial skills, and initiatives to streamline and develop the organization. As a result of the traineeship programme, there were employment or employment offers by employers after completion of the placement for more than 20% of trainees.
