COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS IN TERMS OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE ENERGETIC SECTOR

Summary/Abstract: The actual amount of financial resources allocated to facilitate investments is of great significance to socio-economic development. Unfortunately the actual needs very often surpass the actual possibilities. This is why it is important to create new forms of support. An example of such forms is public-private partnership which enables a private investor to accomplish tasks and duties of public sector. Such model of acting, in which each side is beneficial, is based on mutual cooperation between those subjects. Such form is crucial in capital intensive investments as well as in strategic sectors of the economy like energetic. This is why methods for accomplishing such partnership along with investments in Poland and Great Britain, namely in countries which display different approaches to such cooperation, have been introduced in this publication. Comparative analysis has been used in the publication.
