Summary/Abstract: The active implementation of CLIL-related pedagogies is a fairly recent and yet increasingly popularphenomenon in Poland. CLIL as a dual-focused approach to language teaching involves a fusionof language and subject learning, and even though language is not seen as a goal in itself, it isnaturally acquired through exposure to subject matter for the delivery of which it serves. Unfortunately, these principles are not obvious to prospective teachers, many of whom seem not to haveembraced the specific CLIL mindset. In view of the above, the present study aims to investigatethe perception of CLIL didactics and its potential practical implementations by a group of EarlyEducation students at the Teacher Training College in Bielsko-Biała. By analysing the respondents’views on numerous CLIL-related issues, an answer is being sought to the question whetherthey are well-equipped to do the job adequately.
