Summary/Abstract: The Word embodied in the eternal Letter of the Bible, translated and adapted by restless hierarch Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania, gives endless spiritual food for this people`s heart and thought in the form of a spiritual banquet where no one is invited but many attend. Thus, we (especially in Cluj) have been privileged to witness the publishing of the Bible with his name on it and be contemporary with one of the cultural and spiritual monuments in our history: a new "translation" of the Bible, a book that has been the fundament for the formation during history of civilizations, cultures, peoples. As an illustration of the above, I insist on the idea of necessity for a new critical edition of the Bible in Romanian, an idea that suggested the thoughts above, as well as on the novelty feature of such interests, insuring the monumentality of this work.
