Summary/Abstract: With globalizing movements, openness shows itself in commercial and financial fields and it is supposed that commercial openness is prior condition of financial openness. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between financial openness and export. In the study, covered 1998:Q1- 2014:Q3 period for Turkey, the relation between financial openness and export were analyzed econometrically using multivariate cointegration analysis and error correction-augmented Granger causality test. As a result of applied error correction-augmented Granger causality, it was found that there is one way causality from financial openness to export.
