Summary/Abstract: The paper concerns with issues of the choice of cheese purchasing place with particular emphasis on the specifics of long-maturing cheese. The knowledge of the factors influencing consumer choices is very important on the competitive market and it can become a base for building an effective competitive advantage. The empirical part of the paper is based on statistical analysis of survey results. The conducted research showed slight differences in the perception of purchases by buyers who buy and don't buy long-maturing cheese.
