Summary/Abstract: The paper aims at presenting changes in service activities in small marine ports on example of chosen ports. Factors determining service changes in ports as well as investment activities influencing existing tendencies are also pointed. The basis for the paper are the literature studies and statistical data gathered in years 2009–2014. Pieces of information were also obtained using the diagnostic poll in forms of questionnaire and deepened interviews. They were driven to representatives of the port managing bodies. In the research period a profile of port activities has been changing. Fisheries activities were diminished. However, recreational-sport activities and port loading activities were growing in importance. A lot of infrastructural investment was realized in the ports. They aimed at modernization of the port infrastructure as well meeting needs of the port users. A scope of the port services has been extended and their quality improved. Further growth in importance of recreational-sport activities as well as port loading activities may be expected. However, fisheries activities seem to remain stable or even decreasing.
