CEFTA and Serbia's Accession to the EU

Summary/Abstract: CEFTA implies economic relation among Member States that is based on Free Trade Agreement. In that sense, this form of regional cooperation is significant as a kind of preparations for the EU accession. This paper focuses particularly on the importance of Serbia's membership in CEFTA, which is the best illustrated by the fact that Serbia has a surplus in trade exchange with the Member States of this aforementioned economic intergration.
