Summary/Abstract: In 2008 the pilot project on the replacement traditionally teacher-educator work for school tutoring have begun officially in the three public lower high schools in Wroc!aw. Since that moment the number of tutors - individual educators has been rising. This phenomenon changes the past picture of school upbringing and encourages to asking the question - if is it still needed. By doing insight into this issue, the author of this article has decided to conduct a research on a group of 283 stu-dents. Analysis of their responses will form the basis of the following considerations.
