Summary/Abstract: The author recalls the theatrical fascination Jerzy Liebert, which manifested themselves in his letters to Agnieszka, in his poems, translation of George Büchner's drama, but first of all, in his preserved original dramatic attempts. Originating from different periods of fragments, and being a kind of creative laboratory, they provide evidence for the poet's search within the subject matter, as well as his need for experiment with the convention and the style – from the Platonic dialogue on the prayer, the parodic comedy created in response to the Antoni Słonimski's Wieża Babel [The Tower of Babel], to the satirical picture referring to the art of conversation.Based on the letters, the author has recalled the genesis of individual arts, their formal solutions and the resulting meanings...
