Summary/Abstract: Turkey, as a newly industrialized country, is one of the countries having the highest market share in the world’s textile exports market. By using the 2004-2011 data; Balassa, Vollrath and CEP indexes are applied to test the competition level of Turkey. The two common findings are determined: (a) Turkey has a comparative competition advantage against the EU (27) countries. (b) In the 2011, the existing competition advantage reaches to a highest level.
