Summary/Abstract: All the research done among the young have shown a decreasing trend in religious practices and pluralism of views. In consequence, they lead to individualization of values. The ethical norms are often chosen not according to religious beliefs but on the base of one’s own preferences and own interest. A sharp drop in religious practices can be observed among the Polish youth. According to surveys, it had decreased by 20 percent from 1996 to 2013 and the amount of the young declaring a complete lack of any practices has risen to 7 percent. Together with weaker religious engagement we can also observe more and more liberal approach towards moral rules. It is plainly visible in the lack of sexual ethics respect. A vast majority is in favour of premarital sex (84,4 percent) and contraception (75,8 percent). The survey results, indicating a fall in religious activity and more liberal viewpoint, are not necessarily a lasting trend. It can still be diverted. Some chances for this to happen are, for instance, new religious movements and communities. The latter can contribute to New Evangelization which is supposed to shape moral frames, based on a mature conscience, deep spiritual life and Christian philosophy.
